Rod Morgan Professional Executive Life Coaching Developing Life Coach skills

Professional / Executive Life Coaching

Professional and Executive coaching essentially takes two forms;

1) Where an individual seeks the aid of a Life Coach, and

2) Where an organisation employs a Life Coach to -

a) work with an executive on a regular basis either inperson, by telephone, or a combination of the two,

b) work with a particular team on a regular basis in person, by telephone, or a combination of the two,

c) provide a single or series of seminars or workshops for staff throughout an organisation.

d) complement seminars and workshops with follow-on individual or team coaching.

We are still working with people and so the aim is to improve their professional performance both individually and collectively. In my view this means working to "grow the whole person", in order to increase the overall potency of each individual.

Consequently, areas to be developed include -

  • Health and fitness
  • Personal growth
  • Life / work balance
  • Handling stress
  • Communication skills
  • Relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • Motivation of self and others
  • Leadership / management skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Conflict avoidance and resolution

Naturally, where an organisation is paying for professional or executive coaching a contract will have to address the issues of client/coach confidentiality and feedback to management.

Coaching is a specific and very powerful tool. Whilst working with people I therefore endeavour to introduce and develop an awareness and practice of coaching skills and methods. This further enhances performance and satisfaction in the workplace. further enhances performance and satisfaction in the workplace.

If you feel that I may be of value to you or your organisation I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your requirements with you. Do please call or e-mail me.
